"Why, hello there!" Neil grins in a way that seems to just light up the space. "No need to apologize, my friend, I don't mind walk-ins. And yes, I'm absolutely taking new patients right now! Why don't you come over to the desk and I'll get you the paperwork?"
Oh, wow, that went great! Hector's doing a great job and surely getting a good grade at being a patron at this business, which is both normal to want and possible to achieve. He draws closer, instantly relieved by Neil's cheer, and takes one of the chairs just before the desk.
"Great, thank yew! I won't lie, I'm new to this sorta thing, so... sowwy for any no-brainer questions I give ya!" He jokes sheepishly. As soon as paperwork's offered, Hector takes it, starting to fill it out. (That doesn't stop him from chattering while he does.) "I like yewr place! It's real cozy. In a real-ee pretty part of town, too! I'm soup-rised yewr not more booked up."
"Ahaha, yes, well. I've voiced some rather divisive opinions quite loudly, and it made me rather unpopular for a while. But I've been doing well lately! There are a fair few offworlders like yourself who see value in what I do," Neil replies pleasantly. Best not to get into the meat of it in front of a potential client.
"And don't worry. Our little secret is that the majority of people who come to me have never had therapy before."
"Really! Hoo, that does make me feel a lot better. Yew know there weren't even any therapists where I came from?" Hector cracks an awkward smile his way, before focusing back into the forms. A signature here, a final detail there, and he offers the small stack back over. "I thiiink... that's about it! Yew need anything else? Oh, and, uh--- how's pay-mint work here?"
Oh cripes, they're doing this now? Oh boy. Okay. He'd only prepared to sign himself up for it, not---
"Shore!" Hopping up out of his chair, he waits for Neil to lead the way, following attentively. (And, of course, shamelessly taking a look around the house on the inside all while he goes. It's a cute place! Cozy, even. He'll have to take some notes for his own house-slash-business.)
